P U Primer
Product Description
Serba P U Primer is an unpigmented, solvent based moisture curing polyurethane formulated for ease of application and speed of drying. Adhesion promotor for use with polyurethane systems when treating especially difficult or highly porous substrates.
Surface Preparation
All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from all loose debris, laitance or surface contamination. Repairs to cracks, holes etc must be carried out prior to coating. Fungus mould or lichens must be removed, additional protection against fungal spores can be achieved by applying fungicidal solution. Any existing coating must be inspected and adhesion tests carried out.
Application
Apply by brush, roller or airless spray (use a 15 thou tip at 1500 psi). Areas of pooled primer should be brushed out to speed drying. Allow to become through dry before overcoating. Do not overcoat when still tacky. Stir well before use.
