Z N P Neutral Primer

Product Function

A single pack resin based air dry primer. This product adheres well and provides protection to correctly prepared steel surfaces (before over-coating takes place). ZNP Neutral Primer is suitable for application by spray, brush or roller (dependant upon area size). ZNP Neutral Primer is a hard-wearing primer which is economical as the paint is still useable once the pot has been opened. ZNP Neutral Primer performs very well as an intermediate undercoat and is designed for high quality finish when brushing.

Surface Preparation and Application

Surfaces to be coated must be dry and clean ensuring that no grease remains. Degreasing may be carried out using Universal Thinners, maximum efficiency will be achieved using vapour degreasing. The product can be applied using conventional or airless spray equipment and can be adjusted for use with electrostatic spray equipment. Conventional spraying requires the paint to be thinned to a viscosity of 30-50 seconds at ambient temperature.
