Single Pack Etch Primer

Product Function

Single Pack Etch Primer is an anti-corrosive, quick drying, metal etching primer offering excellent adhesion on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Whereas most non-ferrous metal primers are sprayed, Single Pack Etch Primer has the advantage of being suitable for either brush or spray application, they can be overcoated with most topcoats and intermediate priming systems.

Surface Preparation and Application

Surfaces must be thoroughly clean, dry, free from millscale, rust, oil, grease or other contaminants. Single Pack Etch Primer can be used on most bare metals after thoroughly cleaning and degreasing. It can be applied by brush or airless spray without the addition of thinners or by conventional air spray with 20 to 50% Universal Thinners.
