Pre Cat Lacquers

Description

A Specially formulated high build, single pack lacquer with excellent flow and fast drying properties. It is suitable for most types of furniture and interior joinery where a hard, durable, quality finish is required with good resistance to both heat and chemical attack. Colours can be matched to most recognised colour standards or to the customers own pattern.

Uses

Pre Cat Lacquers are for use on domestic, reproduction furniture and interior joinery. Will comply with BS 6250 general use, when applied over suitable basecoat or coat on coat.

Application

Conventional, airless/airmix or HVLP spray equipment can be used. Use as supplied or can be thinned if necessary. Apply coloured lacquers over High Build Primer Filler, apply clear lacquers over Sanding Sealer or MDF Sealer - high build versions of these sealers are also available.

Flash PointLess Than 21°C.
Drying TimesTouch dry in 15-20 minutes depending upon drying conditions and film thickness.
Thinners / CleanerAcron Universal Thinners.
Colours / FinishesAny gloss level from 10% to full gloss. Colours can be matched to most recognized colour standards or to customers own pattern.
Coverage4 to 6 square metres per litre depending upon film thickness applied.
Shelf LifeUnopened packs have a shelf life of 12 months in original containers.
RecoatAny time after touch dry up to 8 hours.
Pack Size5 and 25 Litres.
Curing TimeUp to 30 days at ambient temperature.
Further InformationShould conditions of high temperature or high humidity occur then Thinners can be added. If recoating after 8 hours, avoid application of very heavy coats particularly on horizonal surfaces
