Product Function

A polyurethane gloss finish coat with excellent chemical resistance which stays tacky to the touch and allows easy removal of graffiti.

Surface Preparation and Application

Consult Acron Paints for full details of preparation on your particular application. Application conditions : an air temperature of 5 to 35°C (40 to 90°F) is preferred. Avoid application where there is a danger of rain or condensation on the coating before it is dry. Avoid application where humidity is more than 80%. Ensure good air circulation in confined areas. Use a good quality brush or air assisted pressure feed. 3 to 6kg/cm² (40 to 80 psi) air pressure, 300-400µm (16 thou) fluid tip, 40 to 60° fan. Clean water may be added to improve atomization.

Properties

ColourClear or a range of BS / RAL colours.
StoragePreferably store at 5 to 30°C. Higher temps may lead to accelerated settling. Protect from frost.
Shelf Life12 months minimum if stored as above.
MixingStir well before use. Use coating within 3 hours. To prevent pressure build-up, do not re-seal container until the contents have fully cured (overnight).
DilutionNot normally required however for air assisted spray application upto 10% universal thinners can be added.
CleaningBrushed and spray tips should be immersed in water to prevent drying. At end of usage clean with universal thinners.
Drying TimesTouch dry : 1 hour
Full cure : 8 hours.
All dependant on good air movement, humidity and temperature. An air temp of 15°C is preferred.
Recommended DFT25µm
Coverage10m² per litre at 45 dry film thickness
