Standard Stoving Enamel is suitable for most domestic and industrial applications where it offers fast production turn around combined with economy and good technical properties. Standard Stoving Enamel is formulated for use with all types of spray equipment including hot spray, airless, electrostic and spinning bell dip is also possible.

Application Perparation / Pre-Treatment

Surfaces should be lightly scuffed and clean, dry and grease free. Use degreasing solvents to ensure thorough metal cleaning.

Aluminium and Alloysuse Acron single or two pack etch primer.
Steelcan be applied direct onto prepared bare steel, however, improved performance will be obtained if the surface is first primed using two pack etch primer as an adhesion promoter. Further improved appearance and corrosion protection is obtained by using Acron full stoving primer.
Conventional Spraystir well, thin with approximately 30% universal thinners to give a spray viscosity of 30 to 50 secs. B4 cup at 20°C. Application can be with any matched spray equipment. Normally apply two coats allowing a short 'flash off' between coats.
