Composition Comments : Complex mixture. Aliphatic, cycloparaffinic, aromatic hydrocarbons. Benzene may be present in trace amounts but will always be below 0.1% w/w. EINECS No 265-185-4, CAS No 6474282-1.

Hazards Information
- Flammable.
- Harmful - may cause lung damage if swallowed.
- Toxic to aquatic organisms - may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment.
- High Hazard - liquid can release vapours than can readily form flammable mixtures at temperatures at or above the flash point.
- Static Discharge - product can accumulate static charges which can cause an incendiary electrical discharge.
First Aid Measures

General Inhalation
Keep affected person away from heat, sparks and flames.

Inhalation
Remove victim immediately from source of exposure. Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. When breathing is difficult, properly trained personnel may assist by administering 100% oxygen. Keep the affected person warm and at rest. Seek prompt medical attention.

Ingestion
Do not induce vomiting. Never make an unconscious person vomit or drink fluids. Remove victim immediately from source of exposure. Rinse mouth thoroughly. Provide rest, warmth and fresh air. Seek medical attention immediately.

Skin
Remove affected person from source of contamination. Remove contaminated clothing. Wash the skin immediately with soap and water. Seek medical attention promptly if symptoms occur after washing.

Eyes
Make sure to remove any contact lenses from eyes prior to rinsing. Continue for at least 15 minutes. Contact physician if irritation persists. Get medical attention promptly if symptoms occur after washing.
Fire Fighting Measures

Extinguishing Media
Can be extinguished using water spray, fog or mist, foam, dry chemicals, sand, dolomite etc.

Special Fire Fighting Procedures
Cool containers exposed to flames with water from the side until well after the fire is out. Use water spray to reduce vapours. Avoid spraying water directly onto storage containers due to the danger of boilover.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill Cleanup Methods
- Provide ventilation and confine spill.
- Do not allow to runoff to sewer.
- Collect with absorbent, non-combustible material into suitable containers.
- Extinguish all ignition sources.
- Avoid sparks, flames, heat and smoking.
- Ventilate.
- Wash thoroughly after dealing with a spillage.
- Runoff or release to sewer, waterway or ground forbidden.

Protective Equipment
Use approved safety goggles or face shield. Use protective gloves. Wear appropriate clothing to prevent any possibility of liquid contact and repeated or prolonged vapour contact.

Medical Symptoms
Irritation of eyes and mucous membranes. Skin irritation.

Toxicological Information
- Aspiration Hazard - do not breathe vapour or spray. May cause lung damage if material gets into the lungs after accidental swallowing or vomiting of ingested material.
- Vapour concentrations above recommended exposure levels are irritation to the eyes and respiratory tract, may cause headaches and dizziness are anaesthic and may have other CNS effects.
- Prolonged skin contact may cause irritation and dermatitis.
- May cause eye irritation.
- Aspiration after ingestion may cause bronchopneumonia or pulmonary oedema.

Ecological Information

Degradability
This substance is expected to biodegrade rapidly and be "readily" biodegradable according to OECD guidelines.

Acute Fish Toxicity
Expected to be toxic to aquatic organisms based on data for similar substances or estimated data. Long term adverse effects to aquatic organisms are not expected.

Water Hazards
The substance can be virtually eliminated from water in suitable effluent treatment plants by biodegradation stripping and mechanical separation.

Environmental Hazards
This substance will rapidly evaporate if released into the environment.
Disposal Considerations
Do not allow runoff to sewer, waterway or ground. Confirm disposal procedures with environmental engineer and local regulations. Dispose of in accordance with Local Authority Requirements.
