Hazards Identification
Extremely flammable. Irritating to eyes.
First Aid Measures
General : In all cases of doubt or when symptoms persist, seek medical attention. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Inhalation : Remove victim immediately from source of exposure. Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. When breathing is difficult, properly trained personnel may assist affected person by administering 100% oxygen. Keep the affected person warm and at rest. Seek prompt medical attention.
Ingestion : Not relevant.
Skin : Remove contaminated clothing. Wash the skin immediately with soap and water. Seek medical attention if discomfort continues.
Eyes : Make sure to remove any contact lenses from the eyes before rinsing. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes. Contact physician if irritation persists. Get medical attention promptly if symptoms occur after washing.
Fire Fighting Measures
Extinguishing Media : Use powder, dry chemicals, sand, dolomite etc. Water spray, fog or mist.
Special Fire Fighting Procedures : Containers close to fire should be removed or cooled with water. Use water to keep fire exposed containers cool and disperse vapours.
Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards : Aerosol cans may explode in fires. Risk of explosion if heated.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill Cleanup Methods : Extinguish all ignition sources. Avoid sparks, flames, heat and smoking. Ventilate. Wear necessary protective equipment. If leakage cannot be stopped, evacuate area and ventilate well.
Larger Spill : Do not contaminate water sources or sewers.
Handing and Storage
Usage Precautions : Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Provide good ventilation. Read and follow manufacturers recommendations.
Exposure Controls and Personal Protection
Engineering Measures : Provide adequate ventilation. Where reasonably practicable, this should be achieved by the use of local exhaust ventilation and good general extraction. If extraction methods are insufficient to maintain concentrations of particles and/or solvent vapours below relevant OEL's suitable respiratory protective equipment should be worn.

Ventilation : Provide adequate general and local exhaust ventilation. All handling to take place in well ventilated area.
Protective Gloves : Chemical resistant gloves required for prolonged or repeated contact.
Eye Protection : Wear approved chemical safety goggles where eye exposure is probable.
Other Protection : Wear appropriate clothing to prevent any possibility of liquid contact and repeated or prolonged vapour contact.
Hygienic Work Routines : Do not smoke in work area. Wash at the end of each shift and before eating, smoking and using the toilet. Remove any contaminated clothing.
Physical and Chemical Properties
| Appearance | Aerosol |
| Colour | Colourless |
| Lower Flammability Limit | 0.8% |
| Upper Flammability Limit | 13% |
| Odour / Taste | Organic Solvents |
Stability and Reactivity
Stability : Normally stable. Conditions to avoid : Avoid heat, flames and other sources or ignition. Avoid contact with strong oxidising agents, strong alkalis, strong mineral acids.
Hazardous Decomposition Products : Fire creates vapours / gasses / fumes of carbon monoxide (CO), Carbon dioxide (CO2).
Toxiclogical Information
Health Hazards / General : Prolonged and repeated contact with solvents over a long period may lead to permanent health problems.
Inhalation : Gas or vapour in high concentrations may irritate respiratory system. Gas or vapour displaces oxygen available for breathing (asphyxiant).
Skin : Irritant to skin. Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause severe irritation.
Eyes : Spray and vapour in the eyes may cause irritation and smarting.
Route of Entry : Inhalation, skin and eye contact.
Ecological Information
Environmental Hazards : No negative effects on the aquatic environment are known.
Disposal Considerations
Disposal Methods : Empty containers must not be burned due to explosion hazards. Dispose of in accordance with Local Authority requirements.
