Highly water resistant and resists blanching when wet. Varnishes are used on new accommodation areas and for renovation. We do not recommend varnish on benches or on tabletops. Plastic laminates give more wear. One coat of gloss varnish has been shown to lower skin friction on hull surfaces. This saving is useful on surfaces where antifouling is not usually applied such as small boats and flat bottoms of large ships below fouling level. Do not use over anti-fouling.
